The following tool supports sighting of new or relocated Liquor Retail Stores (LRS). The BC LRS 1 kilometer buffer requirement is a regulatory measure implemented in British Columbia, Canada, to control the density and distribution of retail liquor stores. This policy aims to prevent an overconcentration of liquor outlets in any given area, promote public safety, and encourage responsible consumption of alcohol.

On Saturday, May 4th, 2024, Dr. Eric Saczuk (BCIT/InDro Robotics) conducted a flight and application demo of the M350 RTK and DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise drones. The event was hosted by the Vancouver GIS User Group. 

Metal signposts, bolts, PVC pipe, epoxy, rock climbing anchors, and cable ties are the bread and butter of in-stream data logger systems. The goal is to create systems that are tough, waterproof, rust-resistant, safe, and reliable. The river will eventually eat and destroy everything, but how can we install sensors and dataloggers to get a little bit of life out of them? This blog post was put together to gather a list of resources for stream data logger installations. The primary focus here is on data loggers for stream temperature and water level (flow).
